Chartwell Games Corp is a wholly owned subsidiary
of Chartwell Technology Inc and creates the Chartwell online casino
software.
They make both download and non download versions
and power casinos with massive brand names the largest probably
being Coral Casino which is a very big brand of betting shops
in the UK and use the Chartwell no download software for their
online casino.
At the time of writing (July 2006) Chartwell's online
casinos software boasts 56 games which compared to the likes of
Microgaming
(over 230) or Cryptologic
(with over 190) is only a very small number indeed. Of those just
17 are slots games so its not the software we would suggest as
a first choice for slots players, just because of the lack of
variety.
However Chartwell are producing something which
is just that little bit different to the rest and that is their
mobile technology. This is basically Java
Casino Software for mobile phones, which will allow you to
play a range of your favorite casino games on your mobile phone.
They currently have just 8 games in their mobile casino package
of which just 2 are slots games, but they do have another 4 games
in development (two of which are slots) so we predict this will
be an area of massive growth in the coming years.
We have not yet reviewed any of the casinos powered
by Chartwell casino software but we do intend to and when we do
we will be adding details to this page.
