This fantastic 5 reel, 25 payline video slot game is part of the
Frightmare
Slots Series.
This one has a Witches fighting Warlock theme.
A Warlock is the male equivalent to a Witch.
The graphics are top quality as are the video animation effects
you get for some of the winning combinations. The sound effects
are also really good and spooky.
Symbols on the reels are made up of all things Witchcraft related
including boiling cauldrons, a Witches black cat, crystal balls,
potions and spells, pumpkins and spell books, skulls, Witches
hats and broomsticks.
When the Witches and Warlocks video animations appear on the
reels at the same time it looks like they are actually casting
spells at each other across the reels. Well you have wait until
the bonus game for the real fights to begin!
As well as all this fun the game boasts 2 randomly won
progressive jackpots which can be won on any spin and
you don't even need to hit a winning combination.
Wild Symbol:
The Warlock symbol substitutes all other symbols except the Witch
symbol. See the Warlock produce lightening and throw a ball of
red light spell across the reels.
Scatter Symbol:
The Witch symbol causes you to win no matter where it lands providing
you have two or more. See the Witch strike her wand and cast a
spell which shoots out across the reels.
Bonus Game:
The Bonus Game is activated when you get 3 or more Witch symbols
scattered anywhere on the 5 reels.
When you come to the bonus screen you have to choose
a contestant, either the Witch or the Warlock. You are then taken
to the next screen where you then have to choose "2 spells
to raise hell," from a selection of 5.
You then watch your contestant fight the other
contestant by casting spells on each other. You are awarded bonus
payouts based on your spells effect on the opponent and also the
outcome of the fight if you win. You can see how well each spell
works by the damage it does to the opponents life bar.

The screenshot below shows the Warlock being zapped by the Witches
spells, I kind of missed the spells being cast action!
