i don't like'em. i like the stuff that they're running at intercasino or english harbour where you buy in, and then try to get up as much as you can on the machine in the given time.

i know it's pure luck, but at least the folks without the deepest of pockets have a chance at it.

if the casinos want to reward their heavy players, that's cool. i just wish they'd use another name for the promo, instead of "slots tournament".

I do know exactly what you mean about the who Wagers the most style tournaments they are great for the high rollers who can throw money at it to win but no good for the average slots player.

For most players (who are not high rollers) the typical slots tournaments work out much better because they have a much better chance of winning.

I dont think its is 'pure luck' though sure there is a large element of luck to get your 'play / tournament money' amount high enough for you to be listed on the leader board but there is a skill (or maybe I should call it common sense element) too which is knowing when to stop whilst your in the winning rankings and then keeping an eye on that leader board so if you fall out of the rankings you start spinning those reels again.

I havent reviewed English Harbour yet, but it seems to be a good casino for slots players so I will make sure I get it reviewed over the coming months.
