I wanted to know more about the contest that are now open, like how many you have open on the forum? Also, I posted a new topic in regards to Pogo.com. I was a register member, but no longer subscribe to their board, which means I never renewed my membership. 39.95 per year is a bit much, if you never win anything but token which you can not really spend.

Right now we are not running a competition of our own. But we intend to launch a new slotsjam competition in February.

February 2008 Competition idea
Our current idea for our February Slots Jam Competition is to give a list of casinos for our forum visitors to join up at (we would of course stipulate that the players must join up using a link from the slotsjam.com website) and we would have some kind of minimum deposit requirement. For example we would stipulate that they must purchase and wager a minimum of $10 at that casino. Then all they would have to do would be email me their account number for that casino. Once I had verified that they did indeed join via a slotsjam.com link and that they have wager over the minimum requirement, I would write down their names and place it in a hat. Then on a set date in Early March I could get a lovely assistant (such as my wife Lara) to pull a piece of paper out of the hat and that way decide the winner.

We would then deposit $50 into the winners casino account.

Please let me know your thoughts on that competition idea and also if you have any good ideas for competitions we could run let me know those two as we would ideally like to be running a competition every month.

I would be grateful for your thoughts and feedback, we want to run more competitions but we need more people entering to make them worthwhile, it is a bit of a catch 22. Also the more people that enter the more casinos I will be able to convince to sponsor such competitions which will mean either more and or bigger prizes as it will not be just us here at slotsjam funding the winnings.

I will see what I can come up with. At one point I was runing a monthly challenge, but we all know how hard it is to get people to join, and play. Even for a great prize, they really want spend the needed time it takes to complete it.
