Can you make money in a casino playing blackjack by following the basic strategy?

If you play perfect 'basic' blackjack strategy you can reduce the house edge down to a little over 1% so no just using a basic strategy card you would not be guaranteeing yourself any wins, although you would be minimising your losses.

It is possible to beat blackjack tables and people have been banned from casinos, but the methods used include card counting which is now much much harder as the casinos have increased the number of decks used.

Another option is to use a twist on the martingale system where you double your bet either when you start to fall behind or when you are ahead.

I know some players who claim they can beat blackjack and that their system works, and I have in fact won a fair bit of money myself using basic blackjack strategy and my own variation of the martingale system, however I would never claim that my system is fool proof.

You should also be aware that card couting is of no use to you in an online casino as the decks are shuffled betwen each deal.

But to answer your origional question, yes you can make money if you have luck on your side. Wink

no because the casino always has an edge. If you heard about the MIT blackjack team, they counted cards and had an edge, so they were able to profit from the casinos. But they were essentially cheating.

Yes, if you will be use bonuses with low wager. You have advantage on casino with bonuses. Choose casino with low wager requirements and where blackjack is allowed.
