Last year there were no new Fruit Machines, so sadly were unable to present the Best New Fruit Machine Award 2008. So this year we are especially pleased to announce a winner for this category.

MicroGaming have delivered a fantastic online fruit machine in the form of Track and Field Mouse. We have reviewed many Fruit Machines over the years on Slotsjam, but we find the winners usually stand out a little.

Track and Field Mouse has all the traditional elements of a pub fruity style game with traditional fruit themed symbols. However, the theme is an athletics track and an Olympic style stadium with a cute, cheeky little mouse athlete as the central character. This all makes for a great gameplay especially as there are a lot of free spins to be won in the online fruitmachine.

The last winner in this category was the winner of the Best New Fruit Machine Award 2007; the The Gee Gees also by MicroGaming. We hope to see more new fruit machines in 2010.
