APCW originally stood for Association of Professional
Casino Webmasters; however in late 2006 they changed their name
to The Association of Players, Casinos and Webmasters.
Amongst other things the APCW conducts annual Feedback Surveys
on criteria such as charge back rates, affiliate manager responsiveness,
customer complaints, and timeliness of payments.
Please sign the petition
to Repeal Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
One of the most interesting things (from a Players
Point of view) is PerspectivesWEEKLY
which is a weekly broadcast which can be seen on YouTube
and informs players about their rights, what is and is not legal
and also helps people (including me) stay right up to the minute
with the latest online gambling developments from around the world.
You can always catch the latest episode of
PerspectivesWEEKLY on the
apcw law page.
I am proud to say that I have passed all the
criteria required to be a full member and have met the founder
(J Todd) of the APCW in person a couple of times. Below you can
see a picture of me (Andy)
and J Todd (the owner of APCW and the presenter of PerspectivesWEEKLY).

The picture was taken at CAP Euro in London on
26th January 2007, and although we both may look drunk (or even
hung over) I assure you we were not. You know how in the cartoons
when someone has a great idea a light bulb appears above their
head? Well look at J Todd's head in this picture, that's got to
be one hell of an idea he's having.
The APCW also check the software of casinos for
spy ware and malware to ensure they are safe for players and webmasters
alike. For me this is an invaluable source of information when
I'm checking out how reputable an online casino is.
